Can the SuperTrend and Moving Averages Provide Good Signals?

Trend following techniques are often a combination of several indicators giving the same signal. Unfortunately, trend following may be lagging from time to time which is why our job is to try to minimize lag. This can be done by combining a highly reactive indicator such as the SuperTrend with a slow indicator like moving averages.
